I don't like linkin park but now that you're on this board, I think people are going to confuse us. Metallica is my all-time favorite metal band, even though Blind Guardian are my current favorite. The only newer bands I really like are Disturbed, Sevendust, and Godsmack, but I like a bunch of classic rock and underground good metal like Blind Guardian, Iced Earth, Accept, etc. If I could change my username or re-register here, I'd be melodica, but I guess metal_girl will have to stick for now. But Audio Slave, Pearljam, Tool, *drools*, Maynard, James, Kenan!, rage, and a few others, not forgetting Zeplend, the Stones, and Metalica, are wonderful.

I don't like emotional rock, Ok, I like it, but I gotta' be in a depressed mood, or I can't listen to it.

I like new rock, classic rock and country now. I have gone through a lot of phases in music listening. Used to be a rap/dance fan but now it nauseates me. LOL
what's up people! Well, I guess most of you are not gonna like this what I'm gonna write, but that's what I think or more like my music taste, I do love sme metal like blind guradian disturbed and bads like that, also like some clasic rock, stuff like stones and others that Cortney mentioned, but also love stuff like LP, now for the worst, I don't only like rock, in fact I like so many differnet kind of music, even some soft rock (yeah some of you would prob call it pop), also lots of types of dance music like house, drum & base, some r&b if it's good qualitty but not much of it, chillout, even some types of jazz, not clasic stuff, but smooth chillout stuff. BTW, when I said so called soft rock I meant stuff like coldpali, snow patrole ETC...but going back to metal metalica is prob my fave all time metal band, so OK some of you say that if you like stuff that I like that you shouldn't even like metal and that if you like metal you should only like metal and nothing else, but I disagree and I'm proud of my eclectic music taste. Oh, just a quick thing to add to my previous post, I didn't mean to accuse anyone or to say that anyon on here wouldn't like my opst or respect my opinion, what I really meant to say is that of course everyone has their music taste and that's fine, it just anoys me that I've been kicked off certain DC hubs lately for having some stuff that's not meant to be rock or metal or what ever, but in general, if people don't like what I like, there's nothing wrong with that, so sorry if any of you thought that I was being defencive or something or that I was trying to accuse anyone without even knowing what they like or think of what I say, didn't mean that really, just was in a bit of a shitty mood and it was like 6 in the morning, well almost, when I wrote that, so I needed some sleep too, which was 1 of the main reason why there was so many spelling mistakes/typos in that post, well that's my excuse anyway, lol. Hey all it's Heavy Metal Girl 85 here . Just wanted to say yeah , I love linkin park and all the other bands like them . I saw them in concert last January along with Hoobastank Story of the year and P.O.D. The concert was awsome !!! well bye for now.

yeah, linken park was what got me interested in rock, I can identify with all of their tracks and 99% of them have emotion resinence

My apsolute favorite band is Metallica, but I do like lots of other stuff. Disturbed, Kill Switch Engaged, Godsmack, Breaking Benjamin, Pillar, Saliva, Seather, Iced Earth and more. I also like classic rock like Led Zepplin, Linard Skinard, Creedence Clearwater Revival and Deep Purple. I like lots of other stuff too, but If I went in to everything I'd be writing for a while. lol!
I like a lot of different kinds of music, but I like rock the most. Linkin Park also got me into rock. My favorite metal bands are- Linkin Park of cource, Evanescence, (Oh yeah, to all of you who are reading this who hate Evanescence, and don't consider them to be rock, fuck you!) Anyway... I also like Edgewater, Green Day (I know there not really metal, but I don't care, I love them anyway) uh... P.O.D., and Seether are awesome too.
I really do need to watch the topics i start good lord... Yo all are great I think someone should like have some sort of automated station that we ould find with the stuff we all love now rap except for a few songs makes me want to puke techno makes my head spin country is ok to an extent and rok is my all time fave. being different is what is cool You hav e to have hange with out it you would get really bored. so anyone know wyhere we can find a station like that or who can start one to play what we love something that works with all players and that is reasonably formatted with good stuff unedited tracks are the best i hate it when they edit music but i know the law requires it but i wond4er sometimes why they can say damn bitch and ass on the radio go ahead and let the rest in too why dont they. the only ones left are shit and fuck so i can understand fuck but not shit i ujust dont get it
Hmm, if you guys want to check out something different I love Interpole and Bloc Party. They're definitely not heavy to a point of heavy metal at all, they dn't use distorted guitars at all really but really cool indie like music, a Perfect Circle, I finally got to listen to their cover album "Immotive" and it's really cool, especially the last 3 songs.
